Personal Philosophy

  • I am a persistent and accountable graduate with a passion for data science and statistics. In recent years, my passion for statistics data science has become my primary professional focus. My interests include statistical data analysis and predictive modeling for working with all types of data. My mission is to facilitate data informed choices that provide insight, drive innovation and optimize decision making. I am seeking employment that will enhance my profession as a Data Scientist in producing reliable statistics, and thus contribute to my proffesional growth

Technical Skills

  • Web Technologies: HTML; Quarto publishing; Rmarkdown Websites, Dashboards in R with shiny/flexdashboard that support crosstalk, and interactive data visualization with Plotly;

  • Coding: R, Python, and SQL.

  • Data: Relational Databases (data modeling and SQL); Extract-Transfer-Load (ETL) and Extract-Load-Transfer (ELT) strategies for data engineering.

  • Data Science: both R and Python are a big part of my workflow from reading in data, transforming and ‘tidying’ data, exploring and visualizing data, modeling, reporting, presenting, and tying it all together in a dashboard. In connection to R, I am a proponent of the tidyverse framework for its unifying API. I’m honestly happy working in both languages.
